Many Venturers are dual-registered in Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops in addition to Venturing crews.
"You have survived your cancer treatment! Congratulations on getting to this point. You have won a significant victory in your fight. One of the things I enjoyed after my own treatment was being in the outdoors, but I was looking for adventure. After my own Philmont trek, I knew that I wanted to share this special adventure with other cancer survivors."
